Exam Date Publishing

What to Bring to theNew York Exam Site

Exam Fee For All New York Notary Exam Sites

Specifically, there is a fee of $15.00. Just to mention, you can pay this with either a check or a money order. In addition, you can pay with a Visa or Master Card. Bear in mind that cash is NOT accepted.

Exam Policies

These policies are the same for ALL New York Notary Exam Sites.

• Cell phones must be shut down.
• No written materials, such as books or reference materials, allowed.
• No briefcases or large bags permitted.
• Food and beverages are not allowed in the exam room.
• Guns or other firearms are not allowed in the room.

Results Notification

You will receive a notice in the mail informing you of your exam results. Accordingly, it will say either Passed or Failed. Also, if you passed you must create a New York Business Express account.

Exam Info

Limited Seating. Therefore, we recommend that you arrive at the exam early. Do not arrive late. Otherwise, you may not be admitted to the exam.
The exam will test your knowledge of the NY Notary License Law. Furthermore, you will have one hour to answer all questions. There are 70 questions. They are all multiple choice. For More information, you can visit the New York Department of State.
